Heists and Lottery

One big score a day, a server-wide pot, and loot crates from voting.

Replace [prefix] with your server's prefix.

Heists

A heist is one gamble a day with a payout you can see before you commit.

  1. Spy a target

    [prefix]heist spy rolls a bank, a reward and a success chance, then asks whether you take the job.

  2. Look it over

    [prefix]heist view shows the job you accepted, its reward and its odds.

  3. Pull it off

    [prefix]heist begin runs the heist. It takes a few seconds, then either pays out in full or pays nothing.

The heist spy embed with the target bank, reward and success chance

The reward and the odds move together, so a rich target is a long shot:

RewardSuccess chance
Up to 20,00050 – 90%
20,000 – 50,00030 – 50%
Above 50,00010 – 30%
// Syntax
[prefix]heist drop

// Example
;ht drop

Not worth it? Drop it — but a dropped heist still burns your 24 hours.

Everything about heists is on a 24 hour clock: one target a day, whether you accept it, drop it or run it.

Lottery

The lottery is per server, and an administrator has to open it.

// Syntax
[prefix]lottery open
[prefix]lottery close
[prefix]lottery draw

// Example
;lottery open

open, close and draw all require Administrator. Members then buy in:

// Syntax
[prefix]lottery buy [tickets]

// Example
;lt buy 5
Ticket price10,000 each
PotEvery ticket sold feeds it
OddsProportional to tickets held

Running [prefix]lottery on its own shows the current pot and how many tickets you're holding. On draw, a winner is picked at random — weighted by ticket count — takes the whole pot and gets a DM about it.

Closing is not drawing

[prefix]lottery close deletes the lottery and the pot without paying anyone out. To end a round properly, use [prefix]lottery draw.

Loot Crates

// Syntax
[prefix]lootcrate [amount]

// Example
;lc
;lc 10

Crates are opened with vote keys, which you get by voting for Serenity every 12 hours. Open up to 100 at a time; a single crate gets an animated spin, bulk opens get a summary.

A single loot crate opening and landing on a rare equipment drop
DropRoughly
Nothing25%
Common equipment25%
Uncommon equipment15%
Cash (5,000 – 50,000)23%
Rare equipment6%
Shield or booster4%
Epic equipment2%
Legendary equipment0.5%

Two things shift these odds: a crate luck roll on your equipment moves weight out of "nothing" and into gear, and a Treasure Map removes nothing, common and uncommon from the table entirely for one crate.
